The River Bar and Restaurant is tucked away inside Manchester's award-winning Lowry Hotel, situated on the banks of the River Irwell. The hotel combines cutting-edge design with elegant neutral tones, dark wood and sleek furnishings. The restaurant has a fresh, unpretentious approach to top quality dining and offers a stylish setting for low-key lunches and dinner dates. The recently revamped menu offers a Modern European menu using the finest ingredients from throughout the UK. Popular dishes include the Buccleuch 12 oz Côte de Boeuf a specially selected dry aged 28 day hung beef from the Duke of Buccleuch Estate and Pan-fried Whole Lemon Sole with Morecambe Bay Shrimps and Brown Butter.

There is a separate dining room, which can comfortably seat up to 20 people, with natural daylight views along the river.

Opening times:

We will require a card to guarantee certain bookings at the hotel including: Saturday Brunch, Sunday Lunch, Afternoon Tea on both Saturday and Sunday and all bookings on Friday and Saturday evening. If you need to cancel your booking please do 24 hours prior to your reservation otherwise there will be a £15 per person charge.

The Lowry Hotel has an onsite car park and offers valet parking. For all visits during the day there will be a charge of 8 pounds per car and for all overnight stays a charge of 15 pounds will be applicable.

On - site parking at The Lowry Hotel is subject to availability and we reserve the right to allocate spaces for overnight residents of The Lowry Hotel.
