Friday 26 October Bollinger Champagne £85 per person
We often hear that the House of Bollinger incarnates a style. Most certainly Bollinger proposes to great wine-lovers something different and unique in Champagne. This specific style is bound to a family history that, for generations, chose to stay close to its land while ensuring it developed its international reputation. In times of merging of businesses, the House of Bollinger remains faithful to its tradition. It is one of the last family and independent Houses of the Champagne trade and it intends to continue that way.
Friday 30 November – French wines Baron Philippe Rothschild £80 per person
Since 1933, Baron Philippe de Rothschild SA, located at Pauillac in the Médoc, has been motivated by a constant ambition: to make the world's finest wines, each in its own category, whether the châteaux wines for which it is responsible – the renowned Château Mouton Rothschild, a First Growth, and its distinguished lieutenants, Château Clerc Milon and Château d'Armailhac – or branded wines, like the famous Mouton Cadet.
Friday 14 December Dom Perignon Champagne £120 per person
Dom Pérignon (1639-1715) was a Bénédictin monk born in France known for his brilliant mind, for 47 years he was the Prosecutor and Administrator of the Cellars of the abbey of Hautvilliers near Reims. During that period, Reims was the town of the sacrament of the kings of France and the wine produced here was famous for mass celebration. Dom Pérignon was a wine expert. Maybe because he was blind, he was endowed with an outstanding sense of smell and palate. He was able to recognize which grapes came from which vineyards. He had the brilliant idea to assemble the wines between them in such a way that qualities of the ones are added to those of the others
Friday 25th January Billecart Salmon Champagne £80 per person
Champagne BILLECART-SALMON was founded in 1818 with the marriage of Nicolas François Billecart to Elisabeth Salmon. BILLECART-SALMON situated in Mareuil-sur-Aӱ, near Epernay is one of the few Champagne Houses to still be owned and led by the original family; it is now led by the seventh generation. The Family’s independence has helped them to maintain a sense of continuity in the production of their Champagnes. Their keywords being: finesse, balance and elegance. The bottles are aged in a vast network of cellars, dating back to the 17th century and under the watchful eye of the greatest cellar masters, traditions join forces with modern technology. Always seeking perfection, their motto remains the same: “give priority to quality, strive for excellence.” In 1999, the cuvée Nicolas François Billecart 1959 vintage was voted “the Champagne of the Millennium” at a blind tasting involving the most illustrious Champagne producers. Furthermore, the cuvée Nicolas François Billecart 1961 vintage came second.

Friday 26 April Gossett Champagne £80 per person
Champagne Gosset is the oldest wine house in Champagne, founded in Aÿ in 1584. The cuvées produced by the House all offer a real point of difference when compared with any of the larger mainstream brands on the market today. From the long standing partnerships they have with their growers to the extended ageing of the wines in the cellar, these differences are evident throughout the entire champagne –making process.
These points of difference produce champagne in the classic “Gosset style”, a style of champagne which is dry yet creamy, full-bodied, rich and biscuity. The depth and concentration of all the wines ensures their ability to mature superbly when cellared appropriately and they are simply fantastic as accompaniments to a wide range of dishes. The Gosset team’s insistence that Gosset champagnes are wines which happen to sparkle is reflected by the growing number of Gosset fans, many of whom comment that although they don’t usually like champagne, they love Gosset!
