For men a cutthroat shave at the Gentry Grooming Company just around the corner from The Lowry Hotel is essential, using sharp razors and hot scented face towels, the face is left as smooth as silk for days.

View the Ford Maddox Brown panels at Manchester's glorious Victorian gothic Town Hall and spot the bee's in the decoration around the hall - Manchester's symbol is the industrious worker bee!!

Visit a full recreation of the world's first computer developed in Manchester at the Museum of Science and Industry in Castlefield.

Visit the Opera House, one of Manchester's biggest venues for large theatrical productions, opera, dance and modern West End musicals. Opened on Boxing Day in 1912, it was always a celebrated theatre hosting great actors as Sir John Geilgud, Peter Ustinov, Vivienne Leigh and Sir Alec Guinness.
