
THE LOWRY HOTEL AND COMME CA ART ANNOUNCE IT’S NEW SHOW
INSPIRATIONAL ARTWORKS FOR MODERN LIVING
In a radical departure from the traditional rural scenes or identikit modern works of art to be found in most hotels, The Lowry Hotel has teamed up with Comme Ca Art to spearhead a revolutionary approach to displaying art in hotels. And there’s not a winsome watercolour in sight!
Manchester’s leading hotel, Rocco Forte Hotel’s The Lowry Hotel, in partnership with innovative art gallery Comme Ca Art, announces its new show Inspirational Artworks for Modern Living a selection of contemporary artworks from leading artists such as: The Little Artists, Andrew George Magee and Simon Taylor.
Since 2005, Comme Ca Art and The Lowry Hotel have been working together to create thought provoking exhibitions of contemporary art displayed within the hotel’s impressive interior and, this new shows a collection of work by photographers, painters, illustrators, print and digital printmakers. This collection runs from 8th March to 17th April. A unique showcase for North West artists, the exhibition will form a 24 hour art gallery within the hotel, open to guests and visitors alike.

“Manchester has always been a hugely creative city and we wanted to make a statement that supported both the huge pool of talent out there and also gave people who perhaps don’t always have time to visit art galleries an opportunity to enjoy art at their leisure.”
