- 80% of our food suppliers for use in the River Restaurant and our banqueting kitchen are all from within 30 miles of Manchester.
- We have our very own Lowry Bees less than 40 minutes drive away from the hotel. Partnering with a local supplier, The Bee Centre, we have created our very own bespoke Lowry Hotel honey. The luxurious honey is harvested by experts at the Lancashire based organisation, in a specially commissioned ‘The Lowry Hotel Beehive’. This honey is used in various recipes prepared and cooked in the River Restaurant, our very own Lowry Hotel Gin, many different cocktails and even as gifts for our guests.
- Working closely with the local community initiatives in our area to ensure that all activities encourage sustainable practices.
- We have a variety of sustainable products, for example our Lowry Honey is available in the in-room bars within the hotel and we have ensured to include related literature with this so all guests are aware of the sustainable and eco-friendly aspect to this.
