The River Restaurant
Executive Head Chef Dave Ashton has reimagined our menu of Classic English dishes to create an exciting new offering.
This menu will feature the delicious well-loved dishes that The River Restaurant is know for, elevated to a new standard of excellence. Designed around produce meticulously sourced from the best UK suppliers the menu will present you with familiar flavour that hit a luxurious note.
The Dover Sole is served as a fillet, stuffed with a Scallop & Ginger Mousse with a Dashi Cream, or try the 10oz Cheshire Farm beef steak, with bone marrow butter and tripled cooked chips. Dessert include a Heather honey cake, made with honey from the Lowry Hotel Bees and a Gin & tonic Syllabub, made with The Lowry Hotel’s own Gin.
Our famous Live-music Sunday Lunch will continue to delight, with three amazing courses, including the pork with Manchester’s best crackling.
Afternoon Tea will be elevated to new level of style, with a spectacular range of scones, sweets and savouries paired with 70+ tea varieties from Tea Merchant, James Green of Tea from The Manor.

Expect top wines from world-famous vineyards, Gin & Tonics made from our exclusive Lowry Gin or the latest tipple from local Brew Masters.
An extensive cocktail list will showcase classics recipes made with exclusively Lowry ingredients, perfect to savour as you enjoy the live entertainment.
