Oh, what a night! Being in a room full of inspiring and talented people, all celebrating the excellence that Manchester has to offer, was truly magical. To top the night off, we won the Leading Hotel of the Year!
It was an honour to collect such an award, proof that we are still paving the way in the hotel industry and that we stand as Manchester’s most iconic, individual and intuitive hotel. We are just so proud of our extraordinary staff who go above and beyond every day, to provide the best five-star service.
We were also honoured to get three nominations: Hospitality Personality of the Year, Organisation Promoting Well-Being, and Leading Chef of the Year for our outstanding Executive Chef, Bartosz Szynaka.

The largest hotel accommodation in Manchester, offering ultimate luxury with river views, a super king-sized bed, a walk-in dressing room, and a bathroom featuring a double steam shower and freestanding bath.
Playing host to actors, musicians, sports stars and world leaders, the suite includes a grand piano, separate lounge, dining for eight, and a fully equipped kitchen.
RE:TREAT stands on its own as an innovative establishment, aiming only to create a deeply peaceful and relaxing experience for all guests. RE:TREAT, the recently renovated technology-first spa at The Lowry Hotel exudes elegance and refinement and provides a tranquil retreat in the centre of the city, away from the hustle and bustle.
Since its establishment, RE:TREAT has consistently earned a five-bubble rating from the Good Spa Guide. RE:TREAT also came up in runner’s place in the Best Wellness Spa in the UK, by The Good Spa Guide. ‘Its charming design; a range of unusual treatments; and friendly, informative staff’, were some of the comments by the Good Spa Guide.
The past five years, The Lowry Hotel have been using 100% renewable energy sources and has not used any fossil fuels. We have also removed all plastic bottles and have replaced them with glass alternatives. We are proudly part of the Green The UK project, committing to making the UK a more sustainable place.
