Halloween In Manchester
Manchester is a Spooky place to be this Halloween, with goblins and ghouls around every corner.
24th – 28th October - Monster Invasion! Keep your eyes peeled for monsters over Halloween Weekend. As you travel around the city centre you’ll see monsters climbing buildings, peeking out of windows and hiding around corners.
27th October – Ghost World Record attempt. Grab a bedsheet and head to Exchange Square as Manchester tries to set the World Record for the most bedsheet Ghosts in one place.
27th October – Family Halloween Extravaganza. Join Dracula in Central Library from 7pm for a spook-tacularly good time, complete with creepy crafts and a silent disco.
27th & 28th October – Trick or Treat trail. A spin-tinging good time for the whole family. Grab a map and follow the trail to the Witches Hovel, Dracula’s lair & Frankenstein’s Tomb – there will be rewards for the brave Adventurer who make it to the end of the map.
28th October – Spooky Pooch Parade. It’s a Halloween costume parade for your favourite four-legged friend. Parade starts at 12pm in Exchange Square.
29th October – Halloween Night Swim. Journey out for the city centre to the Helly Hansen Watersports centre in Salford Quays for the Halloween Night Swim. Tickets are limited to 50 brave swimmers and the £20 admission price includes a glow-in-the-dark swim cap, and a warm mug of soup at the end.
30th October- Haunted Heritage and Literature. Visit Manchester’s Haunted Tudor Hall for a night of Ghost stories and haunted heritage. The night starts at 7.30pm and includes talks from The Manchester Centre of Gothic Studies.

Based on the true story of a Yorkshire WI who shot to international stardom whilst trying to raise money for their local Cancer hospital.
When Annie's husband is diagnosed with cancer, she gathers her friends from the local WI to raise money for the hospital. When her friend Chris strikes on the idea of producing a calendar of women taking part in traditional activities, in the nude, the women are catapulted on a journey to a level of celebrity they never expected.
