From September 2019, we'll be offering a 45minute Pilates class in The Lowry Spa.
The classes will be taught by Carol Paxman-Hughes.
Pilates training keeps muscles long and lean as well as working on a healthy posture and building strong core muscles.
Pilates is a disciplined practice, created for physical rehabilitation, and should be done regularly to achieve the full benefits.
Pilates focuses on strengthening and activating the small accessory muscles, to ease the strain on the large muscle groups.
Studying the Pilates method can help to reduce risk of injury, whilst improving in training and performance.
Classes will focus on the Eight principles of Pilates:
