Housekeeping

  • We have implemented a Linen and Towel exchange policy. Guests are encouraged to indicate their desire to have their linens or towels changed by leaving towels in the bathtub or on the floor in the bathroom so that our housekeeping staff can replace these with new ones. An initiative like this significantly reduces the amount of water and electricity needed to launder linens and towels on a daily basis.

  • We have changes and adapted the cleaning materials and fluids used in the hotel to ensure that we are as sustainable as possible. This includes using re-fillable cleaning bottles with chemical solutions which can be diluted and then the packaging recycled when finished.
  • ‘Green’ Housekeeping practices for example always removing the key card when leaving the bedrooms which helps to save energy and electricity and ensuring all TV's in the rooms are switched off unless in use. 
  • We have introduced energy efficient vacuum cleaners into the housekeeping teams equipment.
  • We have implemented careful procedures and setting practices which have helped to reduce table linen in all F&B areas
