The Lowry Hotel is situated on the river Irwell at 50 Dearmans Place, Salford, Manchester, M3 5LH

The Hotel is in a central location just on The River Irwell which is less than 5 minutes’ walk from Spinningfields. The nearest tram stop to The Lowry Hotel is St Peters Square. To walk to The Lowry Hotel follow the instructions below:

• Walk from the tram stop towards the Midland Hotel and walk down Peter Street towards Deansgate.
• At Deansgate cross the main road and walk towards House of Fraser.
• Just before you arrive at House of Fraser turn onto King Street West and walk to the bottom of the street.
• At the square cross the street where you will find a small walk way (to the right of the car park) towards the Calatrava Bridge which leads directly to The Lowry Hotel.

Parking is available at the hotel at a charge when visiting the hotel or using the facilities only. 

We offer car parking at the front of the hotel and within the secure carpark. The carpark entrance is on Dearmans Place.

Yes, there are five universal electric car charging points available at the hotel for use. This is charged at 80kwH in addition to the car parking charge as above.

Any room bookings made up of more than 6 rooms will be considered to be a group booking and therefore will be managed by our group reservations team.

Yes children can visit at The Lowry Hotel, however due to licensing laws there is a specified time that children need to vacate the bar area.

There is no smoking inside the hotel.

The dress code at The Lowry Hotel is smart casual.

We accept dogs only under our pet policy which can be found here. Guide dogs and service dogs are of course able to be brought to the hotel. This should be communicated in advance to ensure we assign an accessible or dedicated room.

Yes, we have accessible rooms. The guest can either ring the hotel direct to book an accessible room, make their own booking online and leave a comment for our reservations team to action or reply to their booking confirmation making the request.

The hotel cannot be exclusively hired however the banqueting and conference floor can be exclusively hired for your bespoke event.

The hotel has 8 different meeting rooms. A dedicated events floor with its own special entrance on the ground floor. Flexible rooms that can be configured in 15 different ways. From a boardroom event to a press conference with seating for up to 90.

RE:TREAT at The Lowry Hotel is an urban spa and does not have any wet facilities.

The Spa at The Lowry Hotel is open 7 days a week from 9am - 7pm

Proper fitness attire is necessary to use the fitness suite (trousers, shorts, shirt and training shoes). For treatments it is quite normal to wear underwear, but we can provide disposable briefs if you prefer. Please don’t worry, your modesty will always be protected by our expert therapists. If in any doubt, please ask - you won’t be the first to!
